For years now I have allowed for my American pokeweed to grow on my front lawn. This year it was the largest it has ever grown and only came down in our last storm a few weeks ago. I receive a lot of compliments from neighbours until they find out it can be toxic and then people seem to despise it. Stunning plant and I love how the berries stain the snow with pretty colours.
