Yesterday's fatal late-evening shooting of a teenager in my neighbourhood made me wonder where exactly it was. The Police tweet and the CP24 follow-up video suggested near Emmett Ave and Jane St:

The above screen grab had me looking for it in Google street view. It turns out to have been looking west on Buttonwood Ave at Verona Ave (left, the street going to the right is Charlton Settlement Ave):
